Short essays on topics of special interest and/or accounts of recent advances appear regularly in the Society for Neuroscience Newsletter as "Brain Briefings"; principally explaining how basic neuroscience discoveries lead to clinical applications. This is a list that is expanding at regular intervals and which will be irregularly supplemented by invited timely accounts of recent advances in neuroscience.
